Ina-Garten
Ina Garten has been a popular American cook book author for a number of decades. Ina is also the Emmy-winning host of Food Networks longest running show Barefoot Contessa, which started in 2002. Ina Garten began her career in the White House where she wrote the nuclear energy policy as well as budget documents. She initially found her career as stimulating intellectually, however, she eventually lost interest and purchased a tiny grocery store that was known as Barefoot Contessa. Prior to selling the company, she spent more than 18 years building it to a highly successful store. Several other books and magazines followed. The Food Network TV show also was launched with great hit. In addition, she sells all kinds of cooking equipment, tools and storage containers. Ina has never attended any cooking academy and has never worked in restaurants. Ina is completely self-taught. Her name is associated with her casual style of cooking and entertaining. Some of her most popular recipes are Skillet with roasted lemon chicken and Beatty's Chocolate Cake Mac & cheese Beef Bourguignon. Balsamic-roasted Brussels Sprouts, Lemon Bars as well as Mac and cheese.
